Thanks to the incredible efforts of staff and students, we have exceeded our original target of 1 million kWh! So we're aiming even higher with a new target of 2 million kWh! We can't wait to work with Queensland students, teachers, and families to save even more energy.

 

The Smart Energy Academy kWh Savings Tracker estimates the total annual kWh savings across Queensland communities as a result of the in-school energy efficiency program.

It calculates savings based on both the installation of Energy Saving Kit devices sent home with select Year 6 students and the positive energy-saving behaviours encouraged through the educational program.
