WHAT IS THE SMART ENERGY ACADEMY?
The Smart Energy Academy is a FREE educational program for primary schools in Queensland developed to teach P-6 students and their families easy ways to use energy wisely in their homes.
The educational in-school program 'Smart Energy Academy' is designed to get primary school students interested in energy conservation, along with their families. Schools that join the academy receive:
Through the program students, educators and families all have the chance to become positive agents of change and work together for a brighter future.
Live in-school educational theatre performance for grades P-6

Curriculum aligned supplemental print and digital materials offering interactive games and activities to extend the energy education beyond the show

Free Energy Efficiency Kits and installation guides for all Grade 6 students to use in their homes. The kit includes energy-saving products that will help students and their families implement classroom lessons at home.
